Hon. Mayor John Linder will accompany approximately twenty Chester City youth for their first trip to ‘Flights for Kids’.
This Saturday, July 14th, marks the first annual Young Eagles program being offered by the city to Chester students ages eight to seventeen.
The EAA Young Eagles program began in 1992, engaging youth in the study and training of general aviation. This program has serviced more than 1.6 million kids through the efforts and donations of EAA member volunteers. Currently, there are participants from ninety countries worldwide and more than 42,000 volunteer pilots. Additional information on the Young Eagles program can be found at www.youngeagles.org.
